Use of Robotics in Sterile Fill Finish

July 18 , 9.30 am IST

Educational Session by Joe Hoff

About the Educational Session

Since their introduction to the pharmaceutical fill finish industry, robotics has gained importance and become essential in the drug manufacturing process. Because of their high precision, repeatability, and efficiency, as well as the possibility of minimizing human intervention during the fill finish process, the FDA and industry leaders recommend automating through the use of robotics as much as possible in order to reduce risk to the product. It is essential to strike a balance between effort and ease of operation. Robotics in process automation helps to minimize operational lapses and achieve zero product loss.

This Educational session will address the importance of robotics in aseptic fill finish, how robotic automation can solve key challenges in the fill finish process, and address innovative and flexible solutions to drug manufacturers.
